General FAQs

Certainly we can provide you with an estimated cost based on the information you provide about your device. Please note that it is the customers responsibility to request an estimate before sending their device. Once we receive your device we will promptly work on it assuming that you have already received a quotation. If you would like to inquire about the repair estimate, for your device please feel free to contact us via our contact form. Additionally please keep in mind that estimates are costs based on the information provided about your device and may vary depending on the extent of damage incurred.

Based on our experience, with repairing devices we have noticed that the majority of repairs can be categorized into three main types:

1. Walk in Repairs; These are typically completed on the day.

2. Standard Repairs; These usually take between 1 to 5 business days to complete.

3. Extended Repairs; These may require 1 to 2 weeks for completion.

Certainly! We offer a 60 day warranty that covers all repairs long as your device is experiencing the issues it was sent in for. In this case you are only responsible for the shipping costs. We will re-evaluate. Make another attempt to fix the issue at no cost to you.

Technical Support

If your phone isn’t charging the first thing you should do is try using a charging cord. After that check if the charging port is loose or dirty, on the inside. If its dirty it’s likely that you’ll need to clean the charging port. If its loose replacing the port is your solution. When your cell phone isn’t able to hold a charge you’ll need to replace the battery.

Make sure to wipe and dry the exterior of the phone without pressing any buttons. If possible it’s recommended to remove the battery to lower the chances of a circuit.

If you can still turn it off please do so. Avoid attempting to charge it or putting it in rice. Instead we advise bringing your phone to Disrupt Repair as soon as possible. Our skilled technician will carefully disassemble your device. Ensure that all internal components are thoroughly dried to prevent any corrosion buildup or other issues.

Sometimes we may need to ask our clients for some details, like their name, email address or phone number. Providing us with this information will simply help us locate your account, provide support and answer any questions you may have. At Disrupt Repair we take all the measures to ensure that your personal information remains confidential. This includes restricting access to client databases and making sure all our employees are aware of and adhere to our privacy policy. Payment INFO

At Disrupt Repair we prioritize the security of your credit card information. We do not have access, to. Store any credit card details ourselves. Instead we rely on a trusted third party payment processor that specializes in safeguarding credit card data.

We currently accept all major debit, credit cards and cash

We don’t offer parts or tools for sale. We can definitely repair your device for you. Our focus is on selling pre owned and refurbished devices.

All invoices must be settled within a period of 30 days. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of your device. We will make attempts to collect the payment during that 30 day period.
